Areas of Specialization
I offer a range of services tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.

ADHD
ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder that is present in both children and adults. When untreated, it can lead to impairment in academics, work, relationships, friendships, athletics, social engagement, and more. When most people think of ADHD, they think of focusing problems. For people living with ADHD, it means a lot more. There are many reasons for inattention and a comprehensive evaluation is required to determine if the reason for the inattention is ADHD or better explained by something else.

Anxiety and OCD
Anxiety disorders include generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder, panic disorder, and separation anxiety disorder. These are commonly occurring disorders in children and adults. Proper evaluation can reveal primary and co-occurring anxiety disorders and the best course of treatment. Obsessive compulsive disorder is a unique disorder that can mimic multiple psychiatric disorders. It is often missed on evaluations or misdiagnosed as a different psychiatric disorder. Due to unique treatment requirements, accurate diagnosis is vital.

Depression
Depression affects mood, motivation, sleep, appetite, and concentration. We provide careful evaluation, collaborative goal setting, and personalized treatment that may include psychotherapy, lifestyle strategies, and medication when appropriate. We monitor progress, adjust plans, and coordinate care with therapists and primary providers. Our focus is restoring hope, functioning, and daily living.

Bipolar Disorder
Treatment supports people experiencing episodes of depression and mania or hypomania. We begin with a thorough assessment, safety planning, and education about patterns and triggers. Care may include mood stabilizers, therapy, sleep and routine optimization, and relapse prevention. We partner to prevent episodes, protect goals, and improve quality of life.

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
Post traumatic stress can follow frightening events and disrupt sleep, mood, focus, and relationships. We provide trauma informed assessment, education, and a compassionate plan. Treatment may include evidence based therapies such as exposure therapy and cognitive processing, skills for grounding, and medication when helpful. Your safety and recovery guide decisions.

Substance Use and Related Disorders
Care is respectful, focusing on safety, motivation, and harm reduction. We assess patterns of use, withdrawal risk, co occurring conditions, and goals. Treatment may include counseling, recovery supports, medication assisted options, and collaboration with therapists or programs. We help build skills, prevent relapse, and strengthen overall health, relationships, and work.
